Massachusetts Affiliate's Story |

In 1993, the first Race for the Cure® was held in Boston with 1,100 community members participating. In 2006, the Affiliate raised over one million dollars for screening, education, and treatment grants in Massachusetts. To date, we have funded over $1,500,000.00 in breast cancer research and education awareness grants in Massachusetts.

The Massachusetts Affiliate of the Susan G. Komen for the Cure was established in 2001 as its own non-profit entity. The Massachusetts Affiliate sponsors various fundraising events, including the Komen Boston Race for the Cure®, and is a valuable resource for information and education programs on breast cancer health throughout Massachusetts. This web site is part of our efforts. |
